Children in Need 17th November 2023-Children and staff at both sites came dressed in their comfiest PJ’s or favourite Pudsey gear to raise money for Children in Need. Our stag site held a bake sale selling all of their favourite baked goods. In total we raised a total of £170.50. We also explored lots of Pudsey themed activities and learnt about the importance of caring for the people around us.

Our Parkgate site has recently been accredited as a Prem aware setting. The management team have taken part in additional training around premature children and the impact this has on them throughout their lives. It also gave us lots of additional information on how to support children prematurely to ensure they reach the best of their potential.

Children at both sites explored Remembrance Day. They took parts in lots of activities and explored the importance of the day and what it means to people. Some of our children from the Stag site even took a wreath to their local cenotaph in honour of the fallen soldiers.

Throughout October children took part in lots of Halloween themed activities. They explored sensory and messy play activities and loved exploring all things spooky!

On Friday 27th October Dream Catchers Parkgate took part in ‘wear pink for breast cancer awareness’. All staff and children dressed in pink in support of one of our families.
